Introduction of NNDSWO Nepal National Dalit Social Welfare Organization (NNDSWO), established in 1982, is a credible and experience national level NGO working with Dalit and most vulnerable groups for last 32 years. It is also recognized as a trend setter organization in Dalit rights movement. It has wider and grass-roots level outreach across the country having its district chapters in 72 out of 75 districts. It works in a decentralized manner through its relatively autonomous district chapters. Human Rights?non-discrimination and social justice, Democratic Governance?inclusion/participation and accountability, Education and Livelihood Empowerment for generating evidences to advocate ESCR are core thematic areas of NNDSWO. Gender equality, peace and conflict transformation, youth empowerment, are major crosscutting themes. It adopts Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA) to development in its all interventions. Together for change ? alliance approach is an applied and re-affirmed strategic approach. Promotion of programme approach and strategic partnership, building local capacity and result-based management are other strategic approaches.
