Kopila Valley Sewa Samaj (KVSS) established in 2007, is a non-governmental, apolitical, and not for profit organization. Our mission is to change the world by empowering Nepal's children. Most at-risk and disadvantaged children are provided with inclusive quality education at Kopila Valley School (KVS), one of the greenest schools in Nepal, made from the earth and nestled on a campus with a commitment to building sustainable programs. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Communications Associate will play a key role in helping us tell the story of our work. This position supports the creation and distribution of content that advances our mission, engages diverse audiences, and strengthens the visibility of our work across multiple platforms.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role that blends storytelling, content creation, visual media management, and administrative support. The Communications Associate will collaborate across teams—whether in Nepal or with the U.S.-based team—helping ensure smooth internal communication, accurate record-keeping, and consistent, inspiring external messaging.
This position is ideal for someone eager to grow their skills in nonprofit communications, content creation, and organizational storytelling, while contributing to work that puts children, women, and families at the center.

REQUIREMENTS
Education

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, media studies, international development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). |

Language | Fluent in both Nepali and English |
