Job Description
Manage and lead the claims team, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure consistent high performance
Develop and implement streamlined processes and procedures to improve claims handling efficiency and customer experience
Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and best practices
Analyze claims data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex claims issues
Maintain updated knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to non-life insurance claims
Manage reserves and settlements within designated authority limits, escalating larger claims appropriately.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on department activities and performance metrics.
Direct the entire process of claims, including evaluation, investigation, negotiation, and settlement
Ensure strict adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements throughout the claims handling process to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.
