GESI Expert

Master in Gender and Sociology

• 10+ years experience in a relevant field (7 years for  GESI)  in a similar position.
• Experience in leading the development and planning of GESI strategy, training, coaching and mentoring.

WASH Technical Expert

Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (specialized in water supply system)

• 10+ years of experience in development sector with a minimum of 7 years at a senior level.
• Excellent knowledge of sector-related (WASH) national guidelines,  policies,  sector strategies as well as international frameworks.
• Experience in working with international donor agencies.

Master degree in Agriculture/Livestock or other related field

• At least 5 years of practical working experience in agriculture, livelihood, natural resource management and rural development project at national level;
• Proven experience in conducting assessment and analysis of agriculture and livelihood related options/activities.
• Strong knowledge and understanding national institutional contexts in Nepal is an advantage. Experience in working with local government or NGOs on agriculture/livelihood related activities.

Graphic Designer

Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Journalism or related field

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing illustrations, graphics and designing;
• Experience in gender work is an added advantage.
• Experiences in developing illustrations, graphics, animation and designing knowledge products such as brochures, factsheets, publication, research briefs, social media cards and other publications.
• Experience in designing visibility products such as t-shirts, caps, notebooks, flex banners etc.
• Experience in data visualization and developing Infographics.
• Excellent command of illustration skills and designing using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
• Fluency in spoken English and Nepali.
• Samples to be provided at the time of application submission.

• At least five years of experience in videography, video editing and photography.
• Demonstrated experience of conception, production and editing of mini video and video animations.
• Commitment to quality assurance procedures and risk mitigation measures.
• Languages Requirements: English, Nepali

• A minimum of 5 years experience in translating;
• Experience in translating media articles, research papers and other knowledge assets from Nepali to English and vice versa;
• Experience in working on gender-sensitive materials;
• Excellent command in typing in English and Nepali;
• Fluency in spoken English and Nepali.

• Master’s degree in social science preferably in development planning, economics or management;
• Academic degree in Engineering would be an added advantage;
• At least 10 years of professional work experience responsible for supervision, monitoring and evaluation activities of WASH projects.

• At least 10 years experience in solar PV projects or renewable energy projects;
• Understanding of solar energy technologies status and implementation challenges in Nepal;
• Professional work experience with private, bilateral and multilateral organizations in the field of solar energies

• Minimum of 7 and preferably 10 years of experience in practicing law; minimum 3-5 yrs.
• And preferably more than 5 yrs of specific experience in grievances mechanism or  conflict resolution in corporate, NPOs, I/NGOs.
