    Caritas Nepal is a non-profit organization solely devoted to the service of the poor, most disadvantaged, and marginalized people irrespective of caste, creed, ethnicity, and nationality. The organization was founded in 1990 by the Catholic Church to respond to the devastating floods and other natural disasters that occurred. 

     With the vision of creating peaceful, equitable and just society, where there is solidarity among people and respect for human dignity, Caritas Nepal works on the sectors of social justice and community development, disaster risk management, sustainable livelihoods, migrants, refugee and anti-trafficking, emergency and recovery supports as well as advocacy on social concerns.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Minimum 10+2 management or social science or development related fields; working experience child club management, cooperative development/management, social protection/social issues.
    • Minimum of 2-3-years relevant program implementation and report writing experience in a professional environment, preferably in livelihood sector.
    • Excellent knowledge of and experience on reporting writing and case stories, good practices prepare and presentation.
    • Strong communication and influencing skills using evidence-based methods;
    • Technical competence in evidence-based monitoring and evaluation approaches and practices both for accountability and learning processes;
    • Excellent understanding of data and information phases/needs for program management and decision-making;
    • Excellent ability to articulate oral and written technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences;
    • Experience with both quantitative and qualitative methods, including guidance/tool/SOP development, and facilitating community-level and key stakeholder KIIs & FGDs;
    • Experience with KoBo Toolbox or other ODK software is desirable.
    • Having Motor bike driving licenses is an advantage;
    • Fluent in both English and Nepali.
