8.Anticipated Award Type |
The anticipated award type would be a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for a period of performance of 12 months with issuance of Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) purchase orders (releases). DAI anticipates awarding up to 2 to 4 BPA with an ordering period through July 30, 2025. Issuance of this RFQ in no way obligates DAI to award a subcontract or purchase order and offerors will not be reimbursed for any costs associated with the preparation of their bid. A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is a master ordering agreement that establishes unit prices for a list of goods that will be procured in varying amounts on a recurring basis over a fixed period of time. |
9.Basis for Award |
An award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to the terms of the RFQ and is most advantageous to DAI, considering price or/and other factors included in the RFQ. To be considered for award, bidders must meet the requirements identified in Section 14, “Determination of Responsibility”. No discussions or negotiations are permitted with bidders, and therefore bidders shall submit their best and final price. |
