Job Description

Human Rights and Environment Development Center (HuRENDEC-Nepal) Kalikot in a partnership with Plan International Nepal request to submit sealed bids (RFQ) from eligible bidders for the construction of disabled and gender-friendly toilets in 2 schools of Raskot municipality of Kalikot district under the project "Raskot MHH and WASH Improvement Project (RMWIP). 

The details of the tender/ RFQ are as follows.

1.1. Company Information

A. Bidders received bids in hard copy with seal only, no option of electronic bid submission.
B. Procedures for submission, sealing and marking are as follows:

• Bidders have to submit bids by hand with all authorized original hard copy of documents

i. Bidders shall enclose the original copy of the Bid in sealed envelopes. 
ii. The envelopes shall:

• bear the official name and address of the Bidder;
• Be addressed to the Organization procurement committee. 

The required documents and forms shall be prepared in PDF form as specified below.

A) Legal and Competency Documents (Mandatory)

• Company/firm Registration Certificate 
• Construction company/Firm Registration Certificate with latest renewal.
• VAT Registration Certificate 
• Tax Clearance Certificate (FY 2079/080) 
• Audit report minimum past 2 recent FYs
• Pending litigation
• Average Annual Construction Turnover of recent 5 years
• Financial resources
• Specific construction experience (School building, toilet and school WASH infrastructures including name of scheme, location detail, agreement, BOQ, start date, completion date and handover documents)
• General construction experience (Other Institutional buildings, toilet and WASH infrastructures and or other building sector experience (including name of scheme, location detail, agreement, BOQ, start date, completion date and handover documents) 
• Joint Venture agreement (if submitted in JV)
• Priced BOQ
• Complete Construction work schedule weekly basis (within 6 months)
• Bid Security/ Bank Guarantee Letter - 2.5% of total bid amount without VAT.

B) Other Documents (Optional)

• Company profile with company details, shareholder information and relevant experiences.
• Copy of relevant experience certificate in partnering with GoN/INGO or NGO.
• Rewards and appreciation certificates.
• Copy of ownership of transport vehicles-(tripper/truck/tractors), mixture machines, vibrators etc. if yes please provide agreement if you hired such equipment.
• Application letter for the ToR.
