    Vacancy Announcement for post of Project Coordinator at Social Development Forum, Banke

    Social Development Forum (SDF) is a non-governmental organization that has been working for the past two decades to improve the social and economic conditions of women, children, youth, and people with disabilities from Dalit, Janajati, Marginalized and Disadvantaged communities through meaningful participation in education, health, environment, and agriculture. SDF Banke has been implementing Pathways to Wellbeing, Empowerment and Resilience for Adolescent and Youths project (POWER 4AY) July 2021 to till May 2026) in partnership with Save the Children inside Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city, Banke district. In the regards, SDF is seeking qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens for the position of Project Coordinator.

    Position: Project Coordinator
    Number of Staff - 1  (One)
    Base on: Nepalgunj Banke

    Academic qualification/ experiences: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, Gender & Development, or any relevant field.
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as livelihood, education, WASH, related thematic expert, or management of education related projects/programs in Nepal. Skilled in preparing training materials on education, livelihood, WASH and child protection, with strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation abilities.
    • Strong knowledge and experience in programme /project management, implementation, monitoring and reporting from the result-based management approach.
    • Solid project delivery, implementation, and monitoring skills with proven evidence of delivering results on POWER 4AY Project.
    • Experience of writing quality reports with result-based management approach
    • Good coordination and communication skills with community and stakeholders.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication in Nepali, English and Awadhi languages
    • Excellent project and people management skill.
    • Excellent facilitation skills to conduct events, presentations, and reports with excellent financial knowledge.
    • Excellent  knowledge of word, excel, power point and email internet.
    • Excellent knowledge and experience of mobile database and computer software database systems (KOBO tools, OPMIS, Teams etc).
    • Proven experience in coordination with municipalities, district stakeholders’ other government partners and the ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
    • Effective interpersonal skills including leadership skills and ability to motivate those line managed by you and provide constructive feedback on performance
    • Having a two-wheeler vehicle with driving license.
