VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

PACE Nepal, non-profit making Non-Government Organization  established in Jumla district since 2006. Provides expert services in Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change Adaptation, Livelihood Support, Peace Building, Women's Health, SRHR, Social Mobilization, Infrastructure Building, Governance, Entrepreneurship Development, and Gender Inclusion. Supported by partnership like Adaption Fund/United National world food program, Plan International Nepal, Caritas Germany/Nepal Australian Embassy Nepal, Amplify Change/Radha Poudel foundation, PACE-Nepal collaborates with NGOs and networks nationally and internationally to maximize impact. PACE Nepal start from Jumla district and at present working in 4 district of Karnali province.

PACE-Nepal is going to implement the "Girls Standing Strong (GSS) project in partnership with Plan International Nepal. The project will be implemented in the Hima and Sinja Rural Municipality of Jumla District. The program targeting children, adolescent girls, youth girls, and young women enjoys their rights to live free from early and forced marriage. Accordingly, PACE-Nepal invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following positions immediately.

1. Position: Finance Coordinator - 1

Duty Station: Jumla District Office (frequent movement in project areas)

Report to: Project Coordinator/PH/ED

Responsibilities:

• Maintain records of program expenditure as per program unit directions.
• Ensure financial transactions, payments, and procurements adhere to organizational policies and government regulations.
• Prepare and submit financial and administrative reports to Program Coordinator/donors.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Manage income goods, equipment, and materials in the ledger.
• Calculate taxes, deposit timely, and maintain E-TDS system.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation.
• Facilitate advance release and settlement for program staff.
• Orient new staff on financial norms and policies.
• Prepare and submit financial reports to Plan International Nepal.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies (BBS), Commerce, or equivalent with 5 years' experience in NGOs or relevant sector; or Master’s Degree in Business Studies (MBS) with 2 years' experience.
• Strong experience in budgeting, financial planning, documentation, and accounting systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and True Book software.
• Knowledge of child and women’s rights, gender justice, and NGO sector.
• Experience in donor reporting and coalition/network management.
• Fluency in English and Nepali.

2. Position: Field Supervisor - 1

Duty Station: Jumla District Field Office

Report to: Project Officer and Project Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Strengthen capacities of mothers’ groups, child clubs, youth, adolescents, and other community forums.
• Facilitate meetings and events of community groups.
• Engage parents, community forums, and local government for child protection.
• Coordinate community-level activities.
• Conduct trainings for community forums.
• Support child rights protection processes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for project activities.
• Self-motivated with good understanding of local laws.

Qualifications:

• Intermediate/+2 with 3 years' relevant experience in community mobilization.
• Experience in child rights protection and education sector preferred.
• Competency in MS Office and fluent in Nepali and local languages.
• Reporting skills in Nepali and English.

3. Position: Logistics and Procurement Assistant - 1

Duty Station: Jumla District

Report to: Project Coordinator/PH

Responsibilities:

• Purchase office equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Follow administrative procedures for procurement and stock keeping.
• Coordinate with Finance Unit for project-related purchases.
• Manage incoming and outgoing goods.
• Coordinate interpreter and translation services.
• Identify venues for workshops and events.
• Handle printing material requests.
• Maintain assets inventories and handle disposals.
• Manage petty cash and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field with 2 years' experience; or Secondary Education with 4 years' experience.
• Experience in procurement and logistics.
• Knowledge of PACE-Nepal procurement practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English and Nepali.
