Nepal CRS Company, the only not-for-profit company in Nepal has largely contributed to Family Planning (FP) industry since its inception year, 1978. The company has successfully established itself as a key driver in growth of private sector family planning industry with funding support from USAID and contributing 25% to overall national FP achievements on reversible methods excluding sterilization. Till now, the company has reached all the 77 districts with FP, and life-saving product “Nava Jeevan”, an oral rehydration shot. The first social marketing approach has brought recognition to the company both inside and outside Nepal. Ghar Ghar Maa Swasthya (GGMS), or health homes project initiated in 2010 expanded the depth, reach, and impact of private sector in social marketing and provide affordable, high-quality maternal and child health, family planning, and HIV prevention products and services.
